How to wear a sequins dress

November 6, 2010

Ok, so,  you love sequins but you just don’t know how to wear it. Are you overwhelmed with the urge to put on a sequins dress and bedazzle  yourself with body glitter? Stop!

Wearing a sequins dress is a major statement ( I know…stating the obvious) but we are here to give you some style tips to wear our new fun and fabulous sequins dresses. As you can see from our window display, we just got the best colors! The gold and silver are classic colors that look great on everyone.  These dresses are made from a stretch sequins fabric and are guaranteed to fit you perfectly.

Style tip #1 Less is More. Your make up and hairstyle should be simple and understated.

A simple nude gloss on the lips and strong, bolder  on the eyes.

Style tip #2: Accessories. We suggest a small, elegant clutch and a cuff or perhaps bangles to complete the look.

Style tip #3: Shoes. For a more classic look wear sexy heels and bare legs. If your aesthetic is edgier or funkier, wear black opaque tights and boots or chunky heels.

Style tip #4:  Mix and match! When you are wearing a hot sequin dress wear it with a cool leather biker jacket or a distressed denim jacket.  Mixing a simple jacket with the glitz and glamour  will create a modern look.

Autumn is officially here!

November 6, 2010

We love New England during the Autumn  especially the foliage and we are so inspired by the  intense colors of the leaves.

We just got a great shipment of  pashmina scarves at Seychelles.  Our color choices range from pastels like baby pink and tiffany blue to bold colors like fuschia and chartreuse.

Its always nice to find a scarf that you love that can both protect you from the elements and make you look fashionable.  So,  this season, we’re going for the warm and stylish look!

Here’s the best part….all our pashminas are only $20! So, come in and check them out. The price is so affordable that you don’t have to get only one!
